Rede von Queers4Palestine: „Nie wieder“ muss „Nie wieder“ für alle bedeuten!
Ich bin heute hier und vertrete den Queers4Palestine-Block in Wien. Wie viele andere pro-palästinensische Queer-Gruppen auf der ganzen Welt begannen wir im Oktober letzten Jahres angesichts des sich entfaltenden Völkermords am palästinensischen Volk durch den terroristischen Siedler-Kolonial-Staat Israel mit der Mobilisierung. Unsere Botschaft ist klar: Wir bringen unsere uneingeschränkte Solidarität mit den Menschen in Gaza und Palästina zum Ausdruck und verstärken die queeren, antikolonialen und palästinensischen Perspektiven, die im österreichischen Kontext systematisch zum Schweigen gebracht werden.
Seit Oktober tragen wir die queere palästinensische Forderung nach der Befreiung ALLER kolonisierten Menschen auf die Straßen Wiens. Wir tragen sie in Proteste, Aktionen und in unsere Arbeits- und Studienkontexte – und wir werden nicht damit aufhören! Wir sind der festen Überzeugung, dass „Nie wieder!” auch „Nie wieder für alle!” bedeutet. Dieses Geschichtsverständnis fordert uns auf, Österreichs Beteiligung an allen Völkermorden und allen Kriegen auf der Welt zu bekämpfen!
Die letzten Monate haben gezeigt, wie anti-queere Ressentiments Hand in Hand mit anti-muslimischem Rassismus gehen. Wir haben nicht nur die empörendsten Dinge über unsere palästinensischen Geschwister und Morddrohungen gegen sie gelesen, sondern wir wurden auch selber zur Zielscheibe der rassistischen Ideologie Österreichs. Unser Wert in dieser Gesellschaft hat sich erneut als nicht existent erwiesen. Überraschenderweise waren es nicht wie üblich FPÖ oder ÖVP, die mit dem Hass gegen uns Geld verdienen und Wahlen gewinnen.
Nein, seit Oktober finden so genannte linke Journalisten und Medien Vergnügen und Profit an dem Hass, den sie gegen uns schüren. Offenbar verkörpern wir für sie nicht die richtige Art von Queerness. Offen gesagt ist es uns aber scheißegal, ob ihre anti-queeren und rassistischen Angriffe gegen uns im Standard oder im Presse Service Wien veröffentlicht werden: Die Tatsache, dass im Kommentarbereich ihrer Videos und Artikel zu unserer Ermordung aufgerufen wird, zeigt nur, wie mitschuldig sich die sogenannte Linke in Österreich an den strukturellen Morden und der Gewalt gegen Queers UND PalästinenserInnen gemacht hat.
Sowohl Faschisten als auch so genannte Linke sagen, es sei ein Widerspruch, queer zu sein und für ein freies Palästina einzutreten – sie sagen uns, dass „Palästinenser euch von den Dächern werfen werden”. Wir antworten ihnen: In Gaza hat Israel praktisch alle Häuser bombardiert und zerstört und in den letzten 5 Monaten mehr als 30.000 PalästinenserInnen kaltblütig ermordet. Angesichts dieser Fakten fragen wir: Wer ist die größte Gefahr für queere Menschen in Gaza und Palästina? Die Antwort ist klar, es ist Israel. Was ebenfalls deutlich wird, ist der antimuslimische Rassismus in dieser Aussage: Manche so genannte Linke stellen den Islam als inhärent unvereinbar mit Queerness dar. Wir alle wissen, dass das nicht stimmt. Aber es steckt noch mehr Grausamkeit in dieser Aussage: Sie wird von den österreichischen Linken benutzt, um jede Form der Solidarität mit Palästina zu kriminalisieren. Österreich und die Mehrheit der österreichischen Bürger – ob rechts oder links – leugnen weiterhin die völkermörderische, terroristische Gewalt Israels und Österreichs eigene Mitschuld an diesem Völkermord.
Aber wir lassen uns von solcher Gewalt nicht unterkriegen! Wir stehen in der unverbrüchlichen Tradition unserer queeren antirassistischen, antiislamophoben und antikolonialen Vorfahren: Wir stellen uns den Menschen, die zum Mord an uns und unseren Geschwistern in Gaza und Palästina aufrufen, ohne Angst. Wir sind nicht auf der Straße, um für Akzeptanz und Toleranz für uns zu kämpfen – wir sind hier, um lautstark unsere UNBEGRENZTE Solidarität mit dem Volk von Gaza und ganz Palästina zu verkünden.
Wir, Queers for Palestine, sind heute hier, weil wir nicht zulassen werden, dass rechte und linke antideutsche Extremisten ihren Hass ungehindert verbreiten und wir fordern die Linken in Österreich auf, ihre Arbeit tatsächlich zu tun: Die Rechte und jede Form von Faschismus, ihren Rassismus, ihren Hass auf Queers und ihren Antisemitismus zu entlarven, zu boykottieren und zu bekämpfen.
Die FPÖ ist eine Partei, die mit Burschenschaftern unter einer Decke steckt, die in ihren Liedern zur Ermordung einer weiteren Million Juden aufrufen. Die gleiche Partei hat unsere Solidarität mit Palästina in den letzten Monaten als „antisemitisch” bezeichnet. Die antisemitischste Partei Österreichs spricht von „importiertem Antisemitismus” und versucht, Randgruppen wie Muslimen und Migranten die Schuld in die Schuhe zu schieben, während die Liberalen in diesem Land versuchen, sich von ihrer eigenen historischen Schuld reinzuwaschen, indem sie das nationalistische, rechtsgerichtete Terrorregime Israels unterstützen. All das, während sich die AFD und die Identitären in Deutschland heimlich treffen, um die „Remigration” von Millionen von Menschen zu planen – die FPÖ hat offen zur „Remigration” all jener aufgerufen, die sie als nicht „österreichisch” genug erachtet.

Wir stehen heute hier, um unsere Solidarität mit jenen zu zeigen, die am meisten von dem Hass betroffen sind, den die FPÖ verbreitet: MigrantInnen, Flüchtlinge, Queers, MuslimInnen, JüdInnen und all jene, die kriminalisiert werden, weil sie sich mit Palästina solidarisch zeigen! Wir fordern euch auf, das Gleiche zu tun – zeigt eure volle Solidarität mit den Unterdrückten, den Kolonisierten, den Queers!
ENGLISH VERSION
I’m here today, representing the Queers4Palestine bloc in Vienna. As many other pro-Palestinian queer coalitions throughout the world, we started mobilizing in October last year, right in the face of the unfolding genocide of the Palestinian people committed by the terroristic settler-colonial nation-state of Israel. Our message is clear: We express our full and unapologetic solidarity with the People in Gaza and Palestine, and we amplify Queer, Anti-colonial, Palestinian Perspectives, that are systematically silenced in the Austrian context.
Since October, we carry the queer Palestinian demand for the liberation of ALL colonized people into the streets of Vienna. We carry them into protests, actions, and into our working and study contexts – and we will not stop! We strongly believe that “Never again!” means “Never again for everybody!” This understanding of history demands us to battle Austria’s complicity in all genocides and all wars all over the world!!
The last months have shown how anti-queer resentments go hand in hand with anti-Muslim-racism. Not only have we read the most outrageous things about and death threats against our Palestinian siblings, but we have also been a target of the racist ideology of Austria. Our worth in this Austrian society has been proven again as non-existing. Surprisingly, it was not as usual the FPÖ or ÖVP, who generally make money and win elections by fuelling the hate against us. No. Since October, so-called leftist journalists and media outlets find pleasure and profit in the hate they stir up against us – apparently, we don’t embody the right kind of queerness for them. However, frankly speaking, we don’t give a single fuck for their anti-queer and racist attacks against us that are published in the Standard or on Presse Service Wien: The fact, that the comment section of their videos and articles call for our murder, only shows how complicit the so-called left in Austria is in the structural murder and violence against Queers AND Palestinians.
Both fascists and so-called leftists say it is a contradiction to be queer and to stand up for a free Palestine – they tell us that “Palestinians will throw you from the rooftops”. We answer them: In Gaza, israel has bombarded and destroyed practically all houses and has murdered more than 30.000 Palestinians in cold blood during the past 5 months. Given these facts, we ask: Who is the greatest danger for queer people in Gaza and Palestine? The answer is clear, it is israel. What is also clear is the anti-Muslim racism in this statement: The so-called leftist portrays Islam as being inherently incompatible with queerness. We all know that this is not true. But there is even more cruelty in this statement: It is used by the Austrian left to criminalize any form of solidarity with Palestine. Austria and the majority of Austrian citizens – be they right- or left-wing – continue to deny the genocidal, terrorist violence of israel and Austria’s own complicity in this genocide.
But we don’t let such violence defeat us! We stand in the unbreakable tradition of our queer anti-racist, anti-islamophobic, and anti-colonial ancestors: We face the people who call for the murder of us and of our siblings in Gaza and Palestine without fear. We are not on the streets to fight for acceptance and tolerance for us – we are here to loudly proclaim our UNLIMITED solidarity with the people of Gaza and of all Palestine.
We, queers for Palestine, are here today because we will not allow right-wing and left-wing anti-deutsche extremists to spread their hatred unchallenged and we DEMAND the left in Austria to actually do their job: EXPOSE, BOYCOTT AND FIGHT the right-wing and ANY FORM OF FASCISM: its racism, its hatred of queers, and its antisemitism.
The FPÖ is a party full of Nazis, a party that is in cahoots with fraternities that sing songs calling for the murder of another million Jews. The same party has described our solidarity with Palestine in recent months as “anti-Semitic.” The most anti-Semitic party in Austria speaks of “imported anti-Semitism” and tries to blame marginalized groups such as Muslims and migrants, while the liberals in this country try to whitewash themselves clean of their own historical guilt by supporting the nationalist, right-wing terror regime of Israel. All this, while the AFD and die Identitären meet secretly in Germany to plan the “remigration” of millions of people – the FPÖ has openly called for the “remigration” of all those it does not deem “Austrian” enough.

We stand here today to show our solidarity with those who are most affected by the hatred spread by the FPÖ: Migrants, refugees, queers, Muslims, Jews and all those who are criminalized because they show solidarity with Palestine! We DEMAND you to do the same – full solidarity with the oppressed, the colonized, the queers!
